My Story

I have always been passionate about growth and development. In university, I was the guy sitting in the corner reading books about productivity, effective communication, and body language.
     
After I graduated, I wanted to experience life outside the U.S. so I became an English language teacher. I planned to only teach for a year or two before returning to the U.S.
     
That didn’t happen. I found teaching incredibly rewarding. I was able to leverage my obsession with optimization and personal development to help my students accomplish their goals–such as gaining admittance to universities in English-speaking countries and getting promotions at work.
     
I taught English in Russia, Morocco, and Thailand before finally settling in Portugal. Roughly a year ago I became a private tutor and started working individually with clients.
     
Initially, I was teaching regular classes but more and more of my time became devoted to helping students prepare for business meetings, create pitches, and connect with English-speaking clients and investors. I loved the challenge of helping students develop their marketing and communication skills with this business focus.
     
Eventually one of my students hired me to be a copywriter for his company. Now I work as a copywriter and content writer helping international companies grow and develop their customer bases in English-speaking countries. When I am not working you can find me exercising, reading a book, making or editing videos for YouTube, or playing video games.
